Fall is such a relaxed season and I love when the floral arrangements in my home reflect that. I always opt for natural touches like fresh flowers, but fall brings some gorgeous dried arrangements that are perfect for neutral decor or for amping up a Thanksgiving table. Each of these arrangements is full of blooms and grasses that are easily found at your local florist or on a nature walk and is simple to DIY.
Fall Foliage Arrangement
This arrangement is so pretty and a fun one to collect on a walk with kiddos. I love that it incorporates natural fall colours and is easy to create on your own. If you can find some gorgeous branches of leaves, throw those in, too, for some extra height!
Rustic Sunflowers
I don’t know why I love sunflowers so much for fall. I don’t know if it’s a mix of holding on to the last of summer, or just how well they go with rustic decor. Sunflowers are some of my favourites for adding cheer to a space. I also love cutting them short in small vases on a table runner.
Harvest Grain Sheaves
There isn’t anything that speaks more to fall and the harvest season than a simple arrangement of grain sheaves! I love how this one works as a late-fall arrangement with the holiday pinecones which help it transition into the cooler months. These arrangements are long lasting, too, just be careful with the barbs on the wheat!
Dried Hydrangeas
Hydrangeas are on of my favorite spring/summer blooms, but seeing these lovely dried and more ‘vintage’ feeling hydrangeas are perfect for fall. These feel a little farmhouse, a little elegant, a little anything you want it to be depending on how you arrange them!
Simple Dried Grasses
These simple arrangements of dried grasses have been all the rage all year, and going in to fall they’re the perfect natural touch to any space or table. I love these tall grasses in a short, heavy pot like this one. I think the balance it strikes is wonderful.
Classic Potted Mums
Potted mums are one of my favorite holiday flowers, mostly because they’re easy to care for. They’re super hardy and can handle my forgetful plant-care tactics! I love them on a table inside and outside. Every fall I fill my front planters with mums and I always pick up a few giant pots of them, too.
Deep Toned Wildflowers
The deep tones in this wildflower bouquet are so moody and embody fall so well. I love the super full roses, muted dahlias and asian mums blended with such deep hues and greenery that surround them. This bouquet isn’t overly styled or perfectly trimmed – it’s wild in nature yet so beautiful and elegant.
Wildflowers & Grasses
This mix of wildflowers and dried grasses is the perfect blend of cheerful, seasonal, rustic and classic. It embodies everything you need in a fall arrangement while being easy to assemble on your own! Just a walk through some grass fields and you’ll be able to find the majority of the filler components.
Pastel Sunflowers
A modern take on the traditional fall bloom, these pastel sunflowers are just as cheerful as their bright yellow counterparts. I love the muted vibe that they take on – but all that’s muted is the colour – they still spark cheerful joy in any space that they occupy.
Dried Flowers & Grasses
I love when the arrangements on my table reflect the season outdoors – and this arrangement of dried flowers and grasses are just the ticket! It’s simple, it lasts a long time and can be dressed up or down, depending on the vase.
