I.LOVE.VESTS. My brother-in-law jokes that I have a syndrome called “hot arms/cold chest” and when my S.I.L. bought my niece her first vest, she texted me a pic immediately. You could say I’m a big vest-obsessed.

If you see me around from September to April, this is likely how you’ll see me dressed!

Vests just make sense for the climate that I live in. With those days where you need to bundle up in the morning and evening but the days are sunny and “cool” rather than “cold”, a puffer vest is truly the answer to outerwear. Maybe you live in a temperate zone with cooler nights and a jacket is just too much. Perhaps you like the layering capabilities of vests for outdoor activities.

In my mind, there are a number of utility reasons for vests, but those don’t seem to matter because I just love them regardless!

Packable down is a new favorite of mine! After shopping at UNIQLO in Japan last spring and picking up this lovely vest, I take it everywhere. Perfect for summer hikes in the mountains, cooler days and layering, packable down is a great option!

Full-On Puffer Vests

The puffer vest is my favorite of all vests! I live in a northern climate and these are an absolute wardrobe must for me. My fave is definitely the navy number shown above, but this herringbone pattern with detachable faux-fur trimmed hood (no longer available) is another favorite for sure!

This vest arena is new for me, I’ll admit, but I love the additional options! These vests make for great outfit add-ons without seeming as outerwear focused.
