I was thrilled when my husband and I decided to stay home for Christmas this year!  This meant we were going to get a real tree and decorate our home!  When we decided to do this, my husband thought it would be fun if we went out to the mountains (not far from our home) to cut a tree down as we did the year we got married.

(A side note: The first time we did this, there was a blizzard and we went out with only a hack saw…this time we brought a sled, a chainsaw, hatchet and a ton of rope!  Being prepared is so much easier!)
