It’s important that we don’t forget about our pups over the holidays! Below I’ve included some of the items that I plan on putting in my Hattie’s stocking this year (some of her favorites) as well as some other great ideas for the furry friend or fur-baby-parent on your list this year!
Plaid Puffer Jacket: Martha Stewart Pets ($24, PetSmart). I like this coat because it doesn’t have sleeves – just two adjustable velcro straps which makes it much easier to get on/off your pup. It has a soft inner lining and its exterior helps keep the wind off.
Spiky Ball Set: Grreat Choice Spiky Ball Set ($6.99, PetSmart). Our Hattie is obsessed with these. They are all over our house and they have been one of her favorites since she was a baby.
Hand Puppets: Melissa & Dog – Farm Friends Hand Puppets ($19.99, Target). This set of 4 puppets comes in a few varieties (safari animals, etc.). I have a small dog so these are great for playing! They’re some of her favorite toys.
Squeaky Ornaments Set: Boots & Barkley ‘Squeaky Ornaments Pet Toy’ – Set of 2 ($6.99, Target). These are great to toss around and feature clever doggie holiday sayings.
Plush Snowflake Toy: Boots & Barkley ‘Plush Snowflake Pet Toy” ($6.99, Target). I love all the ropes and knots on this toy and its shape makes it easy to toss like a Frisbee.
Cuddly Blanket: Luxe Cozy Throw – Taupe ($80, ChaptersIndigo). Many may see this as a bit too luxurious for a pup, but I disagree. It is so soft and cuddly, especially on those cold winter days!
Chew Bone: Nylabone Dura Chew Plus ($7.49, PetSmart). This toy is affectionately known in our house as “chicken bone” because of it’s flavor. It’s great for chewers!
Photo Frame: Malden ‘Woof’ Frame – 4″x6″ ($14.50, ChaptersIndigo). My Mom and I both have this frame with photos of our late family dog, Adrienne. It’s a cute way to remember her.
