Mother’s Day is just around the corner (Sunday, May 10th). It can be really tricky to find something personal for your Mom, especially when moms seem to already have everything! I feel like on occasions like Mother’s Day, it’s more fun to get her something she wants, rather than something she needs. Practical gifts are great, but why not spoil Mom this year. Here are a few gift ideas for the holiday.
L’Occitane Beautiful Hands Set, $35, Sephora
Moms don’t often treat themselves to nice hand creams and this set is luxurious and affordable.
Pandora Charms, starting from $30, Pandora Jewelry
Pandora has a few starter sets for their charm bracelets which are a great gift idea. They also have an entire Mother’s Day Collection available. These are great because you can really personalize them and add charms for other occasions, too! It’s a great gift that you can build on over the years. For this year’s Mother’s Day, I love the Penguins and the Mother’s Heart charms. I also love this Essence Bracelet set.
Fragrance Gift Sets, Sephora
I’m wary of purchasing fragrances for others, but if you know a fragrance that your Mom loves, this is a time of year when some great gift sets become available. Sometimes this is something that Mom loves, but doesn’t want to splurge on for herself!
A Great Scarf
Scarves are such a great accessory and make great gifts for women of all ages. Choose one in a fun print as Mom likely already has the basics.
I like these ones from Stella&Dot, $64 each (shown below: Union Square Scarf in Fresh Tangerine Mixed Print and Spring Green Mixed Print)
Tote Bag
Moms are always carting things around. Why not treat her to a new tote like this great one from TOMS (Multi Chevron Stripe Islander Tote, $98). The best part of this one is it is neutral so she can pair it with anything (hint: bright scarf shown above!). Plus with the purchase of any of their bags, TOMS provides a safe birth for a mother and baby in need, which is right on theme for this special day.
