The drybar Guide To Good Hair For All – Alli Webb

I am a huge fan of drybar and their line of products, so when this book was published, I pre-ordered it!

I love that the book is written in first person and begins with a tale of how drybar came to be the amazing empire that it is today!  The author, Alli Webb, goes on to discuss how we all have different hair types and how important it is to figure out what yours is so that you can treat, style and care for it properly!

Like Webb, I grew up with a ton of unruly, curly hair that was hard to manage.  When she says “Back when I was ten, I didn’t know how to put it into words. I just knew when I liked my hair, I liked myself, and I liked everything else a whole lot more too”, I certainly flashed back to my own childhood.  All of her struggles were my struggles – and even if you had pin-straight locks, I bet you had hair woes, too!  Maybe you still do!

A How-To Guide For Achieving The Perfect Blowout At Home

This book outlines all of the tools and products you’ll need to achieve the perfect blowout on your own.  It discusses why certain tools are necessary and makes recommendations that not only include their tools (shown below) but for ones within any budget.

I think that this book is the perfect manual for anyone whose skills are novice to pro with their own hair!  It’s a must-read and a perfect gift for any gal pal!
