What’s a bit crazy about this particular guide is that I have typed up the content countless times in emails for people I know who are traveling to the area but have never put it into a formal travel guide for Styled to Sparkle. Seattle is one of those cities that is a little bit iconic. It’s where Starbucks began and the 90s grunge movement. It’s where you’ll find those who love the outdoors and those who work in the technology sector (like a mini silicon valley). It’s diverse and offers so much for every traveler!
Seattle is a city often visited by those of us who dwell in Western Canada and the lower mainland of British Columbia. It makes for a quick weekend getaway to somewhere ‘different’ as the Pacific Northwest is something really special. The Seattle airport is also a busy hub where many find themselves on a brief layover with time to explore the city. In this guide, I share some great ways to make the most of your time here.
Great Ways to Get to Seattle
I like to visit Seattle for a day trip when I’m in Vancouver or on the coast of B.C. It’s an easy drive for the day and there are some great outlet malls (+ Target!) that you can stop at on the way there or on the way back. There’s also a train and a variety of ferry boats that you can take from Vancouver and Victoria, too! This is a really fun way to experience the area as well.
