There are some things you just do with your first pregnancy and one of those things seems to be the 4D Ultrasound. These ultrasounds have been growing in popularity over the years, but Traveling Hope in Calgary seems to have one of the best approaches to it!
Samyra, the owner and lead technician, is incredible kind and makes you feel so relaxed for the entire procedure. She’s able to turn something that can be so clinical into a magical experience. Note that this ultrasound was entirely elective. It was something that we opted to do because we thought it would be fun to see the baby.
How Traveling Hope Works
What I loved about our experience with Traveling Hope is that they come to your home (or whichever location you want) to do the ultrasound! There’s no clinical feel, no laying on a paper covered bed…you’re in the comfort of your own home.
A great way to utilize Traveling Hope’s services are for a gender reveal or for an ultrasound that the entire family can be a part of. Often these are moments you want to share with more than just your partner, so the ability to have the ultrasound displayed on your living room television for a group to watch and discover is really great.
What Is 4D Exactly?
We all know what 3D is, but what exactly is that extra dimension? It’s movement! What was crazy was the ability to see the baby moving in real time in the womb. We could see our little one moving her arms in front of her face, see her move as she kicked and paddled around and even rolled over.
Traveling Hope also provides you with a USB stick with all of the ultrasound photos! This was great for us as we were able to share them with family and friends!
